Irritable bowel syndrome- C ( with constipation)

Irritable bowel syndrome-C (IBS-C) is the condition when a person suffers from IBS with constipation mostly. IBS-C is an uncomfortable situation where the suffering person gets hard stools over 25% of the IBS time.

This syndrome makes the situation painful for the person. They may also get 25% or less watery stools of IBS. Mostly, they suffer from constipation from which this type got its name.

Patients also get mucus in their stools. Usually, doctors suggest the inclusion of fiber in the diet to cure irritable bowel syndrome with constipation.

Irritable bowel syndrome -M ( Mixed type)

In this situation, doctors have to find out the triggers of the disease examining thoroughly.

Irritable bowel syndrome-U (un-subtyped)

Apart from all the three types mentioned above, there is fourth type IBS-U. IBS-U is a different condition from other categories of irritable bowel syndrome, in this condition suffering person doesn’t get irregular stool problems.

1- During the IBS phase, women tend to get insomniac. 

2- Such women get sensitivity to certain foods or diets. 

3- They get Cramps often. 

4- Women with IBS usually have painful menstrual cycles.

6- Feeling of fatigue every time.

7- Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)

12- Women with irritable bowel syndrome tend to have comparatively less sexual desire. The reason is that they feel pain during intimacy. 

13- During pregnancy, symptoms of IBS and pregnancy overlap with each other. This hasn’t proved yet it any research. In pregnancy, women with IBS feel more nausea, bloating, heartburn, constipation and bowel movements.

Men are less prone to irritable bowel syndrome. They don’t take their problems to doctors, which may be a reason there are fewer cases reported of men with irritable bowel syndrome.

Doctors have different opinions about irritable bowel syndrome in men. Some of them think that a man’s gut is stronger than woman, hence they are less likely to get IBS.

However, others have an opinion that men don’t prefer to consult a doctor every time unless it is life damaging disease.

1- They tend to have less sexual desire during irritable bowel syndrome.

2- They have a disturbing daily routine and are unable to work properly because of pain and discomfort.

3-  They may get into depression.

Irritable bowel syndrome is actually a life long disease. It is difficult to cure, however, some changes in your life can help you. It is advised to have IBS home treatment rather than medications.
